One of Anilao's most iconic and beginner-friendly protected marine sanctuaries, this site derives its name from a large concrete cross planted between two vibrant coral mounds at around 15 to 18 meters depth, creating an altar-like setting. Because local operators frequently feed the marine life here, the site swarms with dense schools of remarkably friendly reef fish like damselfish, surgeonfish, and batfish, all navigating through colorful fields of soft corals and macro critters.
